Situated at the edge of a small quiet village near the medieval town of Gourdon with all fascilities. The house is on a small lane with only some local traffic.
The house used to be a farmhouse with an attached barn. Now the two are integrated into a surprisingly spacious and charming house.
The main house:
Stone steps lead up to a nice terrace. Entrance into the spacious kitchen (30 m2). The kitchen is comfortable but it has kept its authentic details. Beautiful chimney with wood burner. Next to the kitchen is a tiny salon. From the kitchen, the original stairs lead up to the top floor with three bedrooms and a bathroom/toilet. Under the kitchen large cellar space.
From the tiny salon, a door opens to a huge space under the old (but restored) roof. A spacious mezzanine is laid around the enormous lounge (63 m2) with underfloor heating and a cozy wood burner. On the ground floor part doors to the garden and pool. At the other end is a bedroom with an ensuite shower room/toilet. Second shower room and mini kitchyen.
There are several terraces and the garden offers great privacy.
A really nice house, worthwhile visiting.
